This will be a deeply relaxing 2-hour Restorative Yoga and Meditation workshop, with a focus on cultivating loving kindness for both ourselves and others
If you haven't experienced Restorative Yoga before, it's a great way to renew your energy, calm your nervous system, gain mental clarity, reduce stress and release muscular tension
Restorative Yoga is less demanding than a Yoga Flow or Yin Yoga class but one of the many things to love about it is, it still leaves you feeling just as good
After the Restorative Yoga we will have a 15 minute special loving kindness meditation which is a centuries old practice that originates from the Buddhist tradition. It involves repeating a set of phrases sending out your wish that you and all beings be happy, peaceful and healthy.
Finally, we will end with a 15 minute Yoga Nidra practice which is a powerful practice for its restorative health benefits. It’s referred to as “yogic sleep” or “conscious sleep”, it allows the body to go into a deep state of relaxation. All you need to do is get cosy, comfy, warm and allow me to guide you through it
