Description
This session will be a grounding and deeply relaxing 2-hour Yin Yoga practice, allowing the nervous system more time to down charge and for you to completely switch off from the busy outside world and let go of worries and stress.
This will be a carefully curated selection of floor poses that target specific meridians (energy channels) which stimulate internal organs to improve the overall physiology of the body. Holding these poses for up to 5 minutes gently stretches and rehabilitates the connective tissues around the joints to improve mobility. These holds help to restore the flow of Chi (energy) and release physical and emotional tension that gets held in the body and manifests as aches and pains. Bolsters, yoga blocks and blankets will be used to help you find a suitable version of each pose to suit your body type.
During child’s pose there will be a relaxing lower back massage and in savasana a shoulder, neck and head massage.
