Yoga
I have trained in and teach Karuna Yoga (similar to Iyengar), Vinyasa Flow Yoga, Yin Yoga and Restorative Yoga. See below for details of each style:
Karuna Yoga
Ruth White developed Karuna Yoga which is based on Iyengar Yoga but with more fluidity. Iyengar is a style developed by B. K. S. Iyengar. Karuna Yoga is a form of Yoga that has an emphasis on detail, precision and alignment in the performance of posture (asana) and breath control (pranayama). The development of strength, mobility and stability is gained through the asanas. It is the best way to learn Yoga as it gives the foundation for all Yoga styles. This style uses props, such as belts, blocks, and blankets as aids in performing asanas (postures). The props enable students to perform the asanas correctly, minimising the risk of injury or strain, and making the postures accessible to both young and old.
Vinyasa Flow Yoga
A style of Yoga that links movement and breath to attain balance in the mind and body. From the Sanskrit "to place in a special way," vinyasa aligns a deliberate sequence of poses with the breath to achieve a continuous flow. Inhalation is usually connected to upward, open movements, while exhalation is often tied to downward movements or twists.

Yin Yoga
A Yoga practice using a carefully curated selection of floor poses that target specific meridians (energy channels) which stimulate internal organs to improve the overall physiology of the body. Holding these poses for up to 5 minutes gently stretches and rehabilitates the connective tissues around the joints to improve mobility. These holds help to restore the flow of Chi (energy) and release physical and emotional tension that gets held in the body and manifests as aches and pains. Yin Yoga is an introspective meditative practice.

Restorative Yoga
A style typically practiced with props and involves only a handful of restorative poses you'll hold for extended periods of time - this helps students really connect with mind and body and achieve a deeper level of relaxation. Restorative Yoga leads the student towards a more healing and recuperative experience and is very much about nervous system health. Restorative Yoga invites a host of wonderful benefits.
